Salisbury is approximately 90 minutes’ drive away from London and around 50 minutes from the ports of Portsmouth, Poole and Southampton.

From London, take the M3 motorway westbound before connecting onto the A303 just after Basingstoke.  You’ll see signposts for Salisbury along the way.

From Portsmouth or Southampton, join onto the M27 and then connect to the A36 in the direction of Bristol and from Poole, join the A338 towards the city.

Driving from Bath to Salisbury is approximately one hour along the A36.

Parking in Salisbury is now easier than ever with five Park & Ride sites operating six days per week.  Take a look at Salisbury Reds website for full details of the Park & Ride scheme.

If you are looking to hire a car whilst in the city, or are looking to return a hire car, there are several car hire companies located in and around the Churchfields Industrial Estate, just a short walk from Salisbury railway station.

Salisbury station is about a mile from the leisure centre and is served by trains from London which take around 2 hours.
